Placemake is a living school. The word school comes from the ancient Greek root scholē, meaning “leisure” or "free time". It signifies a space dedicated to discovery, dialogue, and connection.

Located in the West end of Toronto, our weekly Friday nature and drama programs, Saturday language classes, and seasonal camps provide a collaborative environment for multi-age learners. Guided by mentorship and shared curiosity, we invite children to experience the genuine joy of working and learning together.

Fall term registration is open on a rolling basis.

Year-round Programs

As educators, our attempt is to create an atmosphere of space, attentiveness, freedom, care and safety in which students are helped to expand their horizons and grow without feeling pressured or competitive. We are honoured to be a platform for growth and learning together.
